PADI Underwater Naturalist

One thing is for certain; we will encounter aquatic life while scuba diving.  And after all, isn’t that why we’re there?  The PADI Underwater Naturalist Specialty is an introduction to aquatic life and an overview of responsible human interaction with the aquatic environment.  You will learn basic information about identifying what you see, factual information that dispels popular myths about aquatic life, and dive techniques to help preserve bottom dwelling aquatic life and to minimize aquatic life disturbance.  Training will be conducted in discussion sessions and over two open water dives.

Cost:  $169 +Tax
Includes: PADI Underwater Naturalist manual, use of all necessary equipment, and certification costs
Prerequisite: Open Water Diver; at least 10 years old
Required materials: underwater slate with pencil
